"Our hearts are with you," Kerry said. He previously said he was coming "to share a big hug with Paris."Later Friday Kerry will issue a joint declaration with the mayor of Paris at an event expected to include a performance by musician James Taylor.Kerry's visit nonetheless comes amid criticism of the Obama administration's failure to send a cabinet-level official to Paris for last Sunday's unity march that attracted some 40 world leaders and more than a million demonstrators.Meanwhile, Paris police said Friday that the Gare de l'Est train station was closed and evacuated after a bomb threat. The station is one of several major train stations in Paris, serving cities in eastern Paris and countries to the east. There were no further details as to what may have caused the alert.Authorities remain on high alert in France and also in neighboring Belgium, where authorities on Thursday night killed two people and arrested a third in what a judge said was a last-minute disruption of a major impending attack. Jewish schools in Belgium have been ordered closed. In Berlin, two men were arrested Friday following a series of anti-terror raids. Police said the operation was part of a long-running investigation into suspects with links to extremism.Contributing: Associated PressWithout a net, a look at death defying stuntsJan 15, 2015
